This little artist trading card was made with a upcycled cereal box (2.5/3.5 card), decorative papers, canceled stamp, paint pens, White acrylic paint and a few stencils, a black oil pencil, black stayz on Ink., clear gesso, a super star in gold, and clear sealer.

Yikes! Day of the Dead ATC

Made with a Starbucks cozy, cereal box, Glitter, patterned paper, stamps, ink, paint pens, jewels, beads, and lots of clear sealer!

Collage Monday

Layers of paper and paint... I started with a cereal box cut down to 2.5 x 3.5", fun stuff! Then I collaged on decorative papers and a chocolate bar wrapper. Next I added elements with stickers paper punches and pens… And a bit of orange paint! The glitter around the edge was an afterthought that I think really frames the whole card really well! And only one chocolate bar was harmed in this art project :)

Painting fun peace

This is a series for a swap on ATC for all. The theme was peace, lovely right? I thought this was a great idea! I started with watercolor paper, spray on watercolors, stencils, water color spray paint, gel pens, and finally some 3-D elements made with a gel medium. I discovered I really like the layering different stencils and colors in one piece. I think I did break out the color wheel for this project, just to get a handle on a color scheme that would work. For the most part I was pretty happy with how they turned out. But next time I think I'll add more texture.
